Eternius Extension​ (CLAY)

this is an official extension for the CLAY role-play system

this is meant as an example for reference of a fully fledged large scale extension, while also being a fully fledged usable extension for people to use and run campaigns in.

THEME:

- This is designed to be a generic medieval high magic fantasy. With optional inclusion of basic medieval firearms at the group's discretion.
It's designed to have the world, and all of its inhabitants breathe and flow with magic. - As such many landscapes are wild and strange, and even most commoners have the ability to do small magics like lighting fires.
- This extension is also built for players who like to collect materials, craft, and sell. As such there are a lot of tables on items and their value, this is to help keep consistent costs of items.

SETTING:

- This fantasy is set in a collection of different planes (separate large spaces of varying size), interconnected to each other through “gateways”.
- There is one “main” plane, the size of an entire world called “Eternius”; this is where most of the stories will take place, and serves as a classic fantasy world full of strange races, magic, and wild landscapes.
- There are functionally unlimited other planes ranging from the size of worlds to tiny pockets.
- The gateways that connect them are very rare, random, and short lived. They come In a variety of shapes and sizes. There are very few permanent gateways, oftentimes secret in nature. Very few people have the ability to make gateways, so different planes often have very little knowledge or interaction with each other.
- Magic is very free and formless, oftentimes not having the same exact effects every time. there is no strict system to invoke magic. It can be invoked through symbols, words, actions, or wants and wishes.
